Building an award-winning wine list takes unwavering passion. Maintaining a high-quality wine list requires uncompromising dedication. And expanding a wine list to make it worthy of world renown during a global pandemic is nothing short of a Herculean effort. This year, SingleThread has accomplished just that, earning Wine Spectator’s Grand Award—the world's highest honor for a restaurant wine program. Our cellar is comprised of 10,600 bottles backed by a nearly 2,600-selection wine list crafted by our Wine Director, Rusty Rastello.
"Grand Award -Our highest award, given to restaurants that show an uncompromising, passionate devotion to the quality of their wine programs. These wine lists typically feature 1,000 or more selections, and deliver serious breadth of top producers, outstanding depth in mature vintages, a selection of large-format bottles, excellent harmony with the menu, and superior presentation. These restaurants offer the highest level of wine service." - Wine Spectator
The dedication, knowledge and passion that our Wine Director, Rusty Rastello, and our somm team possess and share with our guests, has been recognized in such a meaningful way. We could not be more honored to have won Wine Spectator's 2021 Grand Award. Kaizen!
